Safeguarding

At Pear Tree Primary School, safeguarding our pupils is of the upmost importance. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children.

Our school is a place where every person has the right to be themselves, to be included and to learn in a safe and happy environment.

We ensure consistent, effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support children, families and staff at school.  For more information please take a look at our Safeguarding Policy.  If need to report a concern about a pupil, please contact one of our Safeguarding Leads via the academy office.  Alternatively, you can contact Cheshire East Consultation Service (ChECS) to report a concern.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead for Pear Tree is Mrs N Casey (Headteacher) and the Deputy Safeguarding Leads are Mrs J Bird (Deputy Headteacher) and Mrs D Swallow (Early Years Lead).

The nominated governor for safeguarding is Katy McGlynn.

The Designated Teacher for Looked After Children is Mrs N Casey (Headteacher).
