Boo Edleston

Headteacher at Pear Tree School from September 2016.
Born and bred in Cholmondeley. Nantwich has always been my home town. Coming from farming stock I was the first person in my family to go to university back in 1989. Qualifying in 1993 with a B.Ed (Hons) degree specialising in drama. I returned home and began my teaching career in the Autumn of that year in Sandbach. Over the next twenty years I worked in a wide range of both small and large, faith and non-faith primary schools within Cheshire. I took my first headship in 2010 and am delighted to have finally returned to my home town in 2016 to serve as Head at Pear Tree.
I take a keen interest in literacy, drama, special needs and early intervention. I have additional qualifications in Headship (NPQH) and am a qualified specialist Reading Recovery Teacher which I qualified as in 2014.
Away from school I have been married to Rob for over 20 years and we have two sons. I enjoy sport, cooking and time spent with our two dogs.
