Red Class Newsletter 14.06.19
Date: 14th Jun 2019 @ 12:39pm
Dear Parents,
We have had a great week, learning all about sharks. See what facts your child can tell you! We have written facts, drawn our own sharks and water coloured these and then labelled them and made our own shark picture out of different coloured papers. In maths we have added and subtracted using shark teeth to help us.
Next week –
We will be reading ‘The Night Pirates’ and carrying out a range of activities. We have our New Starters in on Wednesday and Thursday morning, so Red class will be spending the two mornings with their buddies in Violet class. There will not be any forest school this week. But PE will be on Tuesday, Dance on Thursday and Yoga on Friday.
On Wednesday England will be playing in the World Cup, so your child can wear a football kit or sportswear for a £1.
We will be using instructions and directional language to find the missing treasure and sorting and adding coins together. We will be writing a message in a bottle, making a WANTED poster and writing what we would be like if we were pirates. Also we are going to making treasure maps and skull and cross bone flags as well as other related activities.
Please can you send in any kitchen rolls so we can make telescopes.
We hope you have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Newman and Red Team
