Looking after your mental health 

 

Time To Talk:

We want to provide you with as many ways to raise concerns and to talk about how you are feeling. Here are some different ways:

  • Speak to your class teacher or another member of staff in school     
  • Talk openly in lessons for example Personal, Social, Heath Education or circle time
  • Talk through worries and problems KIVA lessons (Key stage 2)
  • Write down your worry and put it in our worry boxes/monsters in your class– an adult will read it and help you
  • Use our quiet spaces in our classrooms
  • Talk to Mrs Degg. Mrs Ryles or Mrs Boughey – they are trained to support and help you
  • Talk to your parents, siblings, family members – a trusted adult

 

Other support:

Read a book – we have lots of books in our library that may help you to understand some of your feelings. Ask an adult to help you choose one if you are not sure.

Childline – need support Child line are always there to help you

Young minds – somewhere to go to if you are finding things hard

Anna Freud – hints and tips on managing big feelings

Winston’s wish – have you lost someone you love? Dealing with loss can be really hard. This website can help you
