Red Class Newsletter 21.06.19

Dear Parents,

Well what a busy week we have had.  Not only have we been learning all around Pirates and having the best time, we have spent two mornings with our buddies too.  Your child has made their own pirate map, newspaper pirate hat, written a message in a bottle, designed a WANTED poster for a missing pirate and lots more!

Next Week is ACTIVE WEEK –

Children are to wear P.E kits/sportswear all week please.  Every morning after the register the whole school will go out and take part in a dance on the playground.  There will also be lots of running involved every day.

P.E will be on Tuesday, on Wednesday we have a Didi Rugby taster session, we will be learning or practising our skipping skills too. 

With all this ACTIVEness going on, we will still carry on with some number work, writing and reading.

Thursday we have our New Starters in for the morning, so Red Class will spend the morning with Mrs Lacy and Mrs Ryles.

Friday 9:30am is sports day (weather permitting) – children need to wear River family coloured t-shirt and black shorts, with trainers please.  There may be a toddlers and parents race too – so ensure you have suitable footwear.  I always pick on Red class parents haha.  To finish off this active week, the children will have a yoga session in the hall.
